Tony Denard Bailey

Tony Denard Bailey was born February 24, 1966 to Ernest and Helena Bailey in Winston-Salem, NC. He attended Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools.

Toney worked in many different careers after high school. He was noted for his work in construction and landscaping for many years. Outside of work he enjoyed traveling to go fishing. He also stayed active cycling and working out when he could. 

Toney has a passion for cooking. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and serving his community. He was a member of Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church.

On the morning of February 12, 2024, Toney Denard Bailey passed away at Universal Healthcare in King, NC. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Vernon Bailey.

He is survived by his wife Luevina Bailey; mother Helena Bailey; children Tony Bailey, Antonio Bailey and LaCora Bailey-Hall; siblings William (April) Bailey, Sr., James (Shelia) Bailey, Vonetta Lowery, Thurmond Bailey, Gloria Bailey, and Tonya Bailey; twelve grandchildren; and a host of cousins and friends.
