Timothy Joe Whitlock, 64, passed away on March 1, 2026, at Trellis Supportive Care in Winston‑Salem, North Carolina. He was born on February 6, 1962, in Winston‑Salem to the late Bobby Whitlock and Betty Fulk.
Tim was a gifted mechanic whose hands and heart were equally skilled. He spent his career doing what he loved and retired from Old Town Auto, where he was known for his expertise, reliability, and the uncanny ability to fix anything with a motor. Friends and customers alike often said, “If Tim couldn’t fix it, it couldn’t be fixed.”
A true outdoorsman, Tim found peace in nature—whether he was fishing, cooking outside, or simply enjoying the open air. He never met a stranger and carried a charismatic, outgoing spirit that drew people in. His laughter, stories, and easygoing nature made him unforgettable to all who crossed his path.
Tim leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Hayley Ruiz; granddaughter Luna Whitney; brother Tony Whitlock; and a host of extended family members and friends who will forever remember his warmth, humor, and generous heart.
