Stephanie Campbell Obituary

Stephanie Kay Campbell, a vibrant spirit and unforgettable presence, passed away on April 20, 2026. Born on March 11, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Claude Polmateer and Mary Slaydon.

Stephanie grew up in Forsyth County and graduated from East Forsyth High School. She later earned her degree in Computer Technology from ECPI, building a career grounded in determination, skill, and her trademark independence.

Those who knew Stephanie will forever remember her strength — a woman who was hardheaded in the best way, stubborn when it mattered, and fiercely independent. She lived life boldly and unapologetically. Stephanie was happiest when the music was loud and she could dance, laugh, and bring joy to everyone around her. She was the life of the party, the spark in the room, and the friend who could turn an ordinary moment into a memory.

Her heart was just as big as her personality. Stephanie cared deeply for others, always willing to show up, give, and love without hesitation. She enjoyed traveling, finding adventure wherever she went, and she had a special affection for animals — especially her beloved cats.

Stephanie leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Francesca Wickline and Kyle DeBellotte, who were the pride of her life. She is also survived by her two brothers, two half sisters along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish her laughter, her energy, and her love.

Stephanie lived fully, loved fiercely, and left an imprint that will not fade. Her spirit will continue to dance in the hearts of all who knew her.
