Shad Albert O’Dell

Shad Albert O'Dell passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2023. He was born on June 11, 1968, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to the late Albert and Beatrice O'Dell. In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny O'Dell and nephew, Kim Casad.

Shad completed his studies at Hutchinson High School and worked in various fields after graduation. In 1996, Shad relocated to Denton, NC, and diligently continued his work. Later, he decided to move to High Point, NC, where he established himself and worked diligently for T.D. Fibers, capitalizing on his previous achievements.
When not working, Shad enjoyed relaxing and pursuing his hobbies, such as hiking in the mountains, particularly Pilot Mountain. Shad had a niche for being a grill master and loved cooking for his nieces, family, and friends when they visited.

Shad was a laid-back individual with a passion for all types of music and enjoyed watching his favorite basketball team play, GO TARHEELS!

Left to cherish his memory is a devoted and loving niece, Kay Casad; sister, Nancy Hawks; nephew, Marc (Christina) Casad; great nieces and nephews, Anthony Kurzyna, Sierra Hughes, Savana Casad, Audrina Casad; Camden Casad, Kaylee Casad, and Lane Casad; and a host of cousin and friends.
