Ressie Shaw

Ressie Annette Shaw went home to glory on June 23 ,2022 with her loving family at her side in Powder Springs GA.

Ressie was born on April 22.1962 to the late Leroy and Dorothy Gray in Winston Sale NC. She attended the Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools, where she sung in many contests and pageants. She was employed at NC Baptist Medical Center where she worked in dietary field. Ressie's passion was singing and enjoying life to the fullest. She enjoyed reading the bible and watching old movies. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Leroy and Dorothy Gray and her grandparents, Dayton and Mattie Carpenter and Alberta Clemmons. After the passing of her mother, Ressie moved to Atlanta GA where she has been for 23yrs.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband: Mr Raymond Shaw, three daughters: Ms. Shantiss Shaw, Mrs Natasha (Joey) German, Ms. Tania Shaw, one son: Mr Devin (Denise) Shaw. Three grandchildren: Mr. Amari German, Mr Trevion German and Ms. Veronica Shaw all of Atlanta GA.

Three sisters: Ms. Dorothy Carpenter, Mrs. Caroline (Paul) Lewis, Ms. Vickie Blair all of Winston Salem. Two brothers: Mr. Leroy (Teddie) Gray of Boise, Idaho; Mr. Michael Gray of Atlanta GA, and Mother-in-Law Ms, Vernonica Shaw of Winston Salem. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Rest in peace Ressie. You will always be missed.
