In Loving Memory of Patricia Phillips

On Friday, June 26, 2026, at 2:11 p.m., Patricia Phillips passed away, and the world gained another guardian to watch over those she loved.

Patricia was a devoted daughter, friend, wife, and mother. She never met a stranger, and if she had the opportunity to help someone along their journey, she did. Our family grew because of her generous heart. Friends became aunts and uncles—not by blood, but by bonds even stronger. Their children became brothers and sisters, giving new meaning to the phrase, “It takes a village.”

She taught us countless lessons that will stay with us forever: “Do not do anything you wouldn’t want to see on the front page of the newspaper.” “This too shall pass.” “Because nice matters.” And, of course, “Always mind the rule of three—what you do comes back to thee.” She also taught us to find beauty in everyday moments and to hear the music in everything.

Patricia leaves behind her loving husband, Dale Phillips; her son, Frances Lee Owen and spouse, Shannon Hefner; her granddaughter, Lilly Skiles and spouse, Dillion Skiles; her great-granddaughter, Juniper Skiles; her grandson, Skye Nance; and her daughters, Casie Nicole Flegal and husband, Andrew Flegal, and Holly Mary Myers Crews. She also leaves behind many “unbiological” children whom she loved and proudly claimed as her own.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Rhodes Beaudry, and her father, Frances Earl Beaudry.

Until we meet again, go walk in the sand and tend your gardens. We will always love you, and your kindness, wisdom, and love will continue to bloom in all of us.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 4607 Eden Bridge Drive, Kernersville, NC 27284.
