Kelvin "WOO" James, Jr. Obituary

Kelvin Rayvon James, Jr., affectionately known as “WOO” was born May 26, 1998, to Karen Widemon and Kelvin (Donna) Rayvon James, Sr.  in Winston-Salem, NC. He graduated from East Forsyth High School, Class of 2018.

While attending East Forsyth High School he was an active football player. While he was on the football team, he was a Linebacker and Quarterback. After graduation, Kelvin endeavored into various jobs and entrepreneurial ventures. He loved landscaping and was known for doing yard work such as cutting the grass. He loved cutting yards and giving his special manicured touch that he had mastered.

Outside of Kelvin’s endeavors, he always enjoyed his passion of riding dirt bikes and  four wheelers. This gave him the thrill and enjoyment that bought him peace and happiness. Even with the joy of riding with his crew, the happiest moments were also spending time with his family. “WOO” loved his family and was a family man. He especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews creating countless memories.

On Monday October 25, 2021, God dispatched his angels around Kelvin and carried him to his new heavenly home. Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Orlando and Barbara Scales, Sr.; and paternal grandmother, Nanny Mae Crump; an uncle, Orlando Scales, Jr.; and a brother, Andre Robinson.
