Joann “Tiny” Hall, 77, passed away on March 18, 2026. She was born on November 3, 1948, in Forsyth County, North Carolina.
Tiny was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth touched everyone she met. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to caring for others through her work in home health, social services, and as a CNA. She had a gift for nurturing people and took pride in supporting her patients with compassion and dignity. She loved cooking, entertaining, traveling, watching television, and spending time with the people she cherished. Family gatherings were among her greatest joys, and she was known for her generous spirit and ability to make everyone feel welcome.
Tiny was married to her devoted husband, Broadus Hall, for 34 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Kirby, and her brother, Michael Bruton.
She is survived by her husband, Broadus Hall; her children Melvin Bruton, Michael Bruton, Melissa Bruton, and Barbara Bruton Hall (Reggie); her siblings James Kirby and Robert Cunningham; her grandchildren Latrina Bruton and Michael Bruton, Jr.; and a host of additional grandchildren, cousins, and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
