MY STORY
I was born on November 5,1944 in Rockingham County to the late Walter and Belle Dalton I received my education in the public schools of Rockingham County where I graduated from Charles Drew High School. I received further training in electrical work. I worked for National Linen for many years.
After joining Emmanuel Baptist Church, I became active with the Sunday School, audio/visual ministries and Transportation. I was an active member of the Trustee Board when my health began to fail.
On January 30, 1993, I married the one who stood by me and loved me unconditionally, Annie Hairston. I loved my family, fishing, hunting, basketball and showing off my Ford truck at car shows.
