Jack Wayne Johnson, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, May 23rd at AuthoraCare. A service celebrating his life will be held in Charleston, SC.
Jack was born on July 14, 1964, in Charleston to Daisy Johnson and the late Wilbur Jack Johnson. He is survived by his loving mother, Daisy Johnson of Charleston; his sisters, Tootsie Johnson Blanchette (Gary) and Phyllis Johnson Diaz (Luis); his niece, Celine Diaz (Conner); and his nephews, Julian Diaz, Philippe Blanchette, and Kyle Blanchette (Ashley).
Jack was a retired mechanic who took great pride in his work. He enjoyed reading, cheering on the Oakland Raiders, and spending time in his garden. He was happiest tending to his plants and sharing the fruits of his labor with others. Jack—and “his tomatoes”—will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
