George Alexander Smith

George A Smith was guided by his angles to peace on June 12th, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Medical Center. 82 years wise awaiting his arrival daughter Patty Smith, Son Cedric Duncan, brothers Walter Smith (Hattie Smith), and sister Josephine Richardson.

George (lil Buddy) was born in Anson County, Wadesboro NC to the late Thomas and Eliza Smith. Lil Buddy obtain his education at West Ansonville.

Smitty would then go on to serve his country in the Army and then later retire from the Railroad. He would later settle in Winston Salem, NC where he would often attend United Fellowship Outreach church. 

He leaves to share his memories wife Emma Duncan Smith; sons, Tony Smith, Derrick Smith, Daughters; Tameka O'Neal (Roland O'Neal), Sophia Pate ( Robert Pate) Tonya Williams (Cedric Williams); brother Charles Smith; sister Joyce Little(Eddie Little); 12 grandkids and a host of great grandkids, nieces nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
