Darius DeShaud Goolsby

Darius DeShaud Goolsby, age 25, loving father and charismatic son, passed away on January 6, 2025. Born on July 21, 1999 in Winston Salem, North Carolina to Etiska Goolsby Perry and Danotric Antonio Nash, Darius was a well-rounded, kindhearted, respectful young man.

He attended East Forsyth High School and graduated in 2017. He also attended Carolina Christian College for 2 years to further his education and he continued to live in Winston Salem.

Darius enjoyed hanging with his "Pretty Girl" A'Layla Goolsby, playing basketball and video games, going to the movies with his daddy and watching movies at home, eating (he LOVED food!), hanging out with his girlfriend Alexis, cousin Poodie, and other family and friends, as well as designing his "Stay Creative" Clothing Brand and giving off positive energy to anyone and everyone that he met.

Darius is survived by his daughter to whom was his whole world, A'Layla Gianna Goolsby, mother Etiska Goolsby Perry (Tony), father Danotric Nash (NaCasha), siblings Briyana Goolsby (William), J'Qwan Scott, and Milania Nash, grandparents Shirley Hinton (Harmon), Samuel Goolsby, and Learlese Scott, Uncle Christopher Goolsby Sr. (Monica), aunt Zoria Timlic, cousins Nautica Goolsby, Christopher Goolsby Jr. "twin/bff", nephews Jenovi, Jenari, and Jevai Goolsby, his favorite great aunt Brenda "Bobo" Jefferson (Bruce), girlfriend, Alexis Waynick "Darius' angel", and a host of other extended family and friends.
