Ms. Cynthia Denise Shell-Heilig, 61, was born on November 12, 1960 to Roberta S. Myers and Rossie "ROCK" Shell, Sr. in Winston-Salem, NC. “Cynt,” as she was affectionately known as, was a former resident of the North Cleveland Avenue Community, residing a 123 N. Cleveland Ave.
“Cynt” attended North Forsyth High School. In her early days she was employed in various jobs, such as Sarah Lee and held various factory positions.
She enjoyed her time relaxing and sitting on the porch with Amos, her life partner of over 30 years. Her hobbies included playing cards and listening to her favorite music. She loved music from R’Kelly, S.O.S Band, O’Jays, and many more hits. “Cynt” also enjoyed cooking and could make some of the best southern cooked foods that people in the neighborhood would always stop by to eat.
On the late evening of Thursday March 31, 2022, God dispatched his angels to his child and carried her from labor to reward. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Reginald Wayne Shell, Rossie Shell, Jr and Crawford Shell and life partner Amos Davis.
She leaves to cherish most dear and precious memories, a sister, Barbara Shell; brothers, Michael Shell and Keith Shell; nephews, Damien Shell and Rossie Shell, III; nieces, Alvina (Chad) Scales and LaTosha (Shawn) Wilson; great-nephew, Chaelin Scales and Shawn Wilson, Jr; great niece Sariyah Wilson; and a host of aunts, cousins and friends.
