Bonnie Joyce Flynn, 82, was born to Calvin Monroe and Mable Cecil Flynn in High Point, NC on July 10, 1943. She met her Father on the wings of an angel, and was Peacefully taken on July 2, 2025.
She attended Ledford High School where she was part of the first graduating class. After high school, Bonnie attended her local community college where she studied floral design. She also worked as a sander for many years in the furniture industry. She was married her former and late husband, John Powers.
Bonnie enjoyed going with her sister Mary on trips up north where they would have so much fun. She also went on trips with her niece Beth to Cherokee, to the mountains of West Virginia and many more. She loved spending time with her family and went on many family vacations.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Mary Flynn. She is survived by two sisters Frances Brown and Betty Rierson, a niece Beth (Luis, III) Garcia and their son Hunter Rierson, nephew Richard (Ronda) Brown, and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Bonnie will be flying high on the clouds of glory with her Heavenly Father!

The family will have a celebration of life on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 2pm at Free Life Assembly of God in Thomasville, NC.
In lieu of flowers, you can donate to Cancer Research, Kidney disease research, to the church or to the family.
