Albert Clyde Johnson

Albert Clyde Johnson of Kernersville, NC, 72, passed away peacefully in his home on December 23, 2025 after a prolonged illness. He fought like a warrior in his own stubborn and courageous way.
 

Albert will be remembered as an avid motorcyclist, truck driver and talented mechanic. Always kind to children and animals, he was an animal rescuer and cared for a feral cat colony for over 20 years. Although he also lived in Savannah, Georgia and Slidell, Louisiana, the pull of Kernersville was so strong, Albert could not stay away long.

Albert was married for over 50 years to his beloved wife, Nora Johnson. He was preceded in death by twin sons, Jason and Robert Johnson, parents Marjorie and Otto Johnson and all his brothers and sisters.

Alberts cremains will be interred at Greenwich Cemetery located in Savannah, Georgia in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Hospice.
